A dead car battery can make an ordinary day very stressful for drivers. But in the last ten years, many Malaysians have been able to get help quickly through BateriHub’s growing service network.

The company’s rapid growth has reached a new level today. ASEAN Records has now officially recognized BateriHub Malaysia’s growth after the company opened more than 200 branches across the country.

The achievement shows how a local auto service provider has slowly built a network of support for drivers across the country.

Getting To 200 Branches Across The Country

On January 30, 2026, BateriHub said that its network now officially had 200 branches in Malaysia. The total floor space of these stores is more than 340,875 square feet.

When the company reached this goal, it won the ASEAN Records title for the First and Largest Direct Owned Car Battery Retailer by Branch Count and Floor Area.

For the people in charge of BateriHub, this award means more than just numbers. Kok Wai Kit, the co-founder and managing director, said that growth must always go along with good service.

As the network gets bigger, the real challenge is keeping the quality of service high. People expect quick help no matter where they are, whether it’s a big city or a small town.

A Strategy For A Direct-Owned Network

One reason why BateriHub Malaysia is growing so quickly is because of how it works.

BateriHub does not use franchises like many other retail networks do. Instead, it owns everything directly.

This method lets the business keep the same level of service at all of its locations.

The model has a number of operational benefits.

  • All technicians in the country get the same training
  • Prices for services stay the same at all branches
  • A central system makes it easy to send teams out quickly

The company now has more than 460 employees and has helped over a million customers since it started.

Wong Wai Loong, the co-founder and managing director, said that getting to 200 stores required good teamwork between the logistics, operations, and customer service teams.

Covering More Areas Outside of Major Cities

As of early 2026, BateriHub offers services in more than 500 areas in 11 Malaysian states.

The network covers cities like Klang Valley and also helps drivers in states like Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu.

This wider reach is especially important for drivers who live outside of big cities. In the past, it was hard to find roadside battery replacement services in these areas.

Customers can ask for different kinds of help today.

  • Changing batteries at service centers
  • Battery help on the side of the road in an emergency
  • Services that deliver batteries
  • Help with jumping a car

A central dispatch system helps these services work together so that drivers get help as soon as possible.

Customers have shared over 70,000 positive reviews on Google, Facebook, and other online platforms, showing strong support for the company’s service.

Looking Ahead After The ASEAN Records Recognition

The ASEAN Records award was given out at BateriHub’s Annual Dinner on January 29, 2026, at JioSpace in Petaling Jaya. About 420 people came to the party.

But the company sees the award as just the start of its next phase.

More and more customers and potential partners are asking BateriHub to grow into East Malaysia by the third quarter of 2026.

Since 2023, the company has been quietly exploring the Singapore market as part of its long term plans to grow beyond Malaysia.

People who know a lot about business say that running a business can be hard when it grows too quickly. To keep service the same while growing across the country, you need to plan and lead carefully.

The goal for BateriHub is still clear. Keep growing, but make sure that drivers in all of Malaysia can get quick and reliable help on the side of the road.
