Aboitiz Foods has been recognised at the Content Marketing Awards Asia Pacific 2026, taking home the Bronze Award for Best Content Campaign for Sustainability for its flagship everymeal campaign.
Presented by NEXT Awards in Kuala Lumpur, the recognition places Aboitiz Foods alongside leading regional organisations, including RHB Bank Malaysia, PT Telkomsel, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Sentosa Development Corporation. The achievement highlights the company’s commitment to making sustainability more meaningful and accessible across Asia’s food value chain.
Sustainability has become an important priority for businesses across Asia, but communicating those efforts effectively remains a challenge.
Recognising this gap, Aboitiz Foods developed the everymeal campaign to bring together sustainability initiatives from across its businesses under one clear and relatable narrative. Rather than focusing solely on environmental topics, the campaign demonstrates how sustainability is reflected throughout the entire food production process.
The initiative showcases stories covering responsible sourcing, product innovation, operational improvements, community partnerships, animal care and food safety, helping audiences better understand the many ways sustainability supports the food industry.
The strength of the everymeal campaign lies in the people behind the stories.
Employees from Brunei, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam contributed experiences from different parts of the organisation, including production, supply chain, corporate social responsibility, human resources and quality assurance.
By encouraging team members to share their own sustainability initiatives, Aboitiz Foods created a campaign that reflects real actions taking place across its regional operations rather than relying solely on corporate messaging.
The campaign has also delivered significant engagement.
During 2025, everymeal generated more than 32 million online impressions while featuring stories aligned with 13 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). More than 70 sustainability stories were submitted by employees across the region, illustrating how sustainability is embedded throughout the organisation’s operations.
The campaign demonstrates how storytelling can help businesses communicate complex sustainability initiatives in ways that are easier for employees, customers and stakeholders to understand.
For Aboitiz Foods, sustainability extends beyond environmental protection.
The company views responsible business practices as an ongoing effort to improve operational efficiency, strengthen communities, optimise resources and build a more resilient food value chain from production to consumption.
According to Joeben Gamatero II, Vice President for Agribusiness Marketing and Brand & Reputation Management at Aboitiz Foods, the campaign was created to show that sustainability is reflected in everyday business decisions and the way the company supports people throughout the food ecosystem.
This broader approach allows sustainability to be viewed not as a standalone initiative, but as part of long-term business growth and food security across Asia.
While the regional award marks an important achievement, Aboitiz Foods says it also serves as a reminder that sustainability is an ongoing journey.
Annacel Natividad, Chief Risk Officer of Aboitiz Foods, said the recognition reinforces the company’s commitment to integrating responsible practices across its operations while encouraging employees to continue contributing to its sustainability journey.
Moving forward, the everymeal platform will continue highlighting the people, partnerships and practical initiatives that support the company’s goal of sustainably feeding Asia’s growing population.
Across Asia, companies are increasingly expected not only to implement sustainability initiatives but also to communicate their impact clearly and transparently.
Campaigns like everymeal demonstrate how storytelling can bridge the gap between corporate sustainability strategies and public understanding, making responsible business practices more visible and relatable.
As consumers, investors and communities place greater emphasis on sustainable development, effective communication is becoming an important part of building trust and demonstrating long-term commitment.
